How Each Color Holds Up Around Hayward
Weather and roads decide how a color looks after a month. Here's what to expect around Hayward.
Bay blue
Smoke Blue Pearl is new for 2027 and suits the Bay. No paint charge, on every trim.
Hot parking lots
On a bright afternoon a dark Passport soaks up more heat than a light one. Platinum White Pearl runs coolest; every trim has tri-zone automatic climate control.
Dust
Dry dust settles pale gray-tan on everything. It disappears on Sonic Gray Pearl and Platinum White Pearl and shows within hours on Crystal Black Pearl.
Fog
In fog, brighter paint is easier to pick out. Platinum White Pearl and Sunset Orange stand out most, though headlights matter far more than color.
Dirt in general
From hides-dirt-best to shows-dirt-most: Sonic Gray Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Ash Green Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic II, Sunset Orange, Platinum White Pearl, Smoke Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl. Pearl and metallic finishes help, but a mid-tone still wins.

What Changed in the Passport Palette for 2027
The headline change is a new blue. Here's everything that affects color for 2027.
Welcome, Smoke Blue Pearl
The only new paint for 2027 replaces Obsidian Blue Pearl one-for-one: gray seats on the RT-L and TrailSport Elite, black HondaTex on the TrailSport, and no paint charge.
Seven paints carry over
Ash Green Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic II, Sonic Gray Pearl and Sunset Orange return with the same trim and interior availability.
TrailSport styling changes how color reads
2027 TrailSport trims get more pronounced fender flares, a darker, resculpted lower front fascia and amber LED hood lights, so more of the lower body frames the paint in black.
Blackout, now with black fascias
Black front and rear fascias join the Blackout package's black wheels and badges for 2027, the biggest contrast on light paints.
2027 Honda Passport Color FAQs
What colors does the 2027 Honda Passport come in?
The 2027 Honda Passport comes in 8 colors: Ash Green Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic II, Smoke Blue Pearl, Sonic Gray Pearl and Sunset Orange. The RT-L offers 6 of them, and the TrailSport and TrailSport Elite offer all 8.
Is Ash Green Metallic available on every 2027 Passport?
No. Ash Green Metallic, like Sunset Orange, is offered only on the TrailSport and TrailSport Elite. The RT-L offers 6 other paints.
Which 2027 Passport colors cost extra?
5 colors are premium paints with a $455 charge: Ash Green Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic II, Sonic Gray Pearl and Sunset Orange. Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl carry no paint charge.
What's the best 2027 Passport color for strong sun in the East Bay?
Platinum White Pearl stays coolest, followed by Sonic Gray Pearl. Dark paints absorb more heat. Around Hayward, that's the difference between washing weekly and washing monthly.
Is Obsidian Blue Pearl still available on the 2027 Passport?
No. Smoke Blue Pearl replaces it for 2027 with the same interior pairings on every trim.
What interiors can I get in the 2027 Passport?
It depends on the trim. RT-L: Black or Gray Leather. TrailSport: Black HondaTex synthetic leather with orange accents. TrailSport Elite: Black, Brown or Gray Perforated Leather.
Can I get a gray interior on the 2027 Passport TrailSport?
No. The TrailSport comes only with black HondaTex synthetic leather with orange accents. For gray seats, choose the RT-L with Gray Leather (Smoke Blue Pearl, Platinum White Pearl and Sonic Gray Pearl) or the TrailSport Elite with Gray Perforated Leather (Ash Green Metallic, Smoke Blue Pearl, Platinum White Pearl and Sonic Gray Pearl).
Can I get a brown interior in the 2027 Passport?
Yes, on the TrailSport Elite only. Brown Perforated Leather is offered with Ash Green Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Sunset Orange and Platinum White Pearl.
Which Passport color handles dust best around Hayward?
Sonic Gray Pearl and Platinum White Pearl hide dust best; Crystal Black Pearl shows it fastest.
Which Passport color looks cleanest after dirt roads in the East Bay hills?
Mid-tones look cleanest longest: Sonic Gray Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Ash Green Metallic. Dust shows fastest on Crystal Black Pearl, and mud and red dirt show on Platinum White Pearl. For dirt roads in the East Bay hills, the TrailSport's all-terrain tires and skid plates matter more than paint.
What interior comes with Smoke Blue Pearl?
Gray Leather on the RT-L, black HondaTex synthetic leather on the TrailSport, and Gray Perforated Leather on the TrailSport Elite.
Can I get the Blackout package in any color?
Blackout is a TrailSport and TrailSport Elite package. Honda publishes color availability by trim rather than by package, so confirm your paint with our team before ordering a Blackout build.

Smoke Blue Pearl is new for 2027 and suits the Bay. No paint charge, on every trim.
What's the lowest price for a 2027 Passport in each color?
