The 2021 Honda Passport: Comfortable Two-Row Midsize SUV

The new 2021 Honda Passport checks all the boxes. It is comfortable, spacious, packed with convenience features and made to last. Often compared to its bigger counterpart, the three-row Honda Pilot, the two-row Honda Passport is easier to maneuver with its smaller size but still holds its own when heading off-road or hauling gear, or the family, around. For the 2021 model year, the new Honda Passport gets Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as standard features, along with an 8″ touchscreen, up from 5″ in 2020. The 2021 Honda Passport comes in four trims: Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite.

The Honda Passport boasts a powerful 3.5-Liter V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel-drive comes standard, with all-wheel-drive standard on the Elite trim. AWD is an option for the other trims. Adding all-wheel-drive also boosts the ground clearance from 7.5 inches up to 8.1 inches. Either way, you can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The powerful engine and solid ACE™ body structure provide for a comfortable ride and quick acceleration to keep it relevant on the highway.

What stands out most in the 2021 Honda Passport is the comfort level of its cabin. Wide front seats, tri-zone climate control, and a second row with as much room as the front row help the Honda Passport remain enjoyable to drive or ride in, even during long road trips. And there is plenty of cargo room to pack everything when you go on one! With 50 cubic feet of trunk storage that expands over 100 cubic feet with the 60/40 second row folded, there’s no need to pack light. The new Passport also has plenty of smart storage spaces, like underfloor storage with organizing compartments and a huge center console that can fit a tablet with room to spare.

Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor

The base Honda Passport Sport comes equipped with plenty of features, including LED headlights, keyless entry, a seven-speaker audio system and Honda Sensing® safety features. But spend just a little more for the Passport EX-L and enjoy a host of premium features, including:

  • Leather-trimmed seats
  • Moonroof
  • Heated front seats
  • Power tailgate
  • Automatic-dimming rearview mirror
  • Walk Away Auto Lock®
  • Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor

For those who want more, the Honda Passport Touring and Honda Passport Elite offer even more convenience and luxury features, including:

  • Hands-free power tailgate
  • Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™
  • Parking sensors
  • Wireless charger
  • Heated outboard rear seats
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Rain-sensing windshield wipers
  • 115-Volt power outlet
  • Premium 10-speaker audio system with subwoofer

For a smooth, comfy ride that seats five adults with legroom to spare, the 2021 Honda Passport is affordable, reliable and feature-packed. Not to mention, the 2021 Honda Passport has won numerous accolades, including a Best Car for the Money in two-row SUVs from U.S. News & World Report, a 2021 Editor’s Choice from Car and Driver, where it also ranked in their top five mid-size SUVs. Car and Driver also ranked it as their favorite two-row mid-size crossover when compared to the Ford Edge, Chevy Blazer, Hyundai Santa Fe and the Nissan Murano.
